Patrick Lee, LCDC, LPC Intern
Supervised by Brian Kennedy, LPC-S
I earned both a BA in English and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. My combined graduate training and post-graduate work focus includes the following areas: inpatient psychiatric settings, acute psychiatric outpatient stabilization in community clinics, substance use treatment, individual and group psychotherapy. I have received additional training in Gottman Family Therapy, Psychodrama, and suicide prevention. In addition to clinical work, I work tirelessly for multiple social justice initiatives and can occasionally be seen with hammer in hand at Habitat for Humanity.
I am originally from Michigan and a recent transplant to Austin; however I have quickly taken to this city through its people, topography, and food. As one looking for constant adventure, I have best discovered the wonders of Central Texas by way of bike, run and paddle.
I see school-age children, adolescents, and adults. I also provide counseling for couples.
